R&S Cutter Grind had chosen to help provide assistance to Michigan families who have had their lives turned upside down by cancer through the Mission of Hope Cancer Fund. Established in 1994, this Fund uses donated money and items to directly and immediately impact the cancer patients' lives with assistance in things like paying medical bills, equipment and supplies; helping with medical insurance, travel and lodging expenses for treatment; and offering items to be auctioned off during cancer benefits.

R&S Upgrades Equipment to Better Serve Customers

Recently we added the Winslow Engineering Model 560C Programmable Video Tool & Part Analyzer to our shop. This new Tool and Part Analyzer allows us to improve the quality services we offer to you. 

The Model 560C Video Tool Analyzer permits rapid precise inspection of all tool geometry characteristics for new tools and regrinds. The system uses a series of lenses and a digital camera to display the tool being inspected on a video monitor. 

A Windows® compatible software inspection program is displayed on the monitor where the tool inspection is performed. The software allows us to share more details with you throughout the process.

R&S Donates Items to Help Our Veterans

The team at R&S Cutter Grind is always happy to support area veterans. That's why we're proud of a thank you letter we recently received from the American Legion Berryhill Post 165 in Midland, Michigan.

We donated a number of items that the American Legion raffled off to raise money to provide services for veterans. We hope the veterans know that we donated the items as a small token of our gratitude for their service.

Thank You to our Blood Donors

Thank you to everyone who participated when Michigan Blood came to the R&S Cutter Grind and PF Markey Saginaw offices to hold a blood drive on Nov. 30. We're proud to help with this effort.

According to facts on the Michigan Blood website, donors are always needed. About 37 out of every 100 Americans are eligible to donate blood – but only 3 to 4 people actually donate each year. Shortages of blood are most likely to occur during the winter and summer holidays. Throughout the year, someone needs blood every 2 seconds.
